About Our Company

We started with one tractor, one trailer and one rented dock door off Plano Parkway. Twelve years later we still run the same way — by hand, on the phone, and by our word.

Our Story

Built In Plano, Earned Mile By Mile.

Parshottam Rupala Logistics was founded in 2014 by Steven Belaire, a former regional operations manager who got tired of watching shippers be treated like ticket numbers. The first year of business was Steven, his wife Karen handling the books, and a leased Freightliner running Dallas–Houston three nights a week.

By 2017 we had four trucks and a 12,000 sq ft warehouse off McDermott Road. By 2020 we had been through a pandemic, kept every customer, and signed our first national retail account. Today we operate from a 140,000 sq ft facility in Plano with 38 power units and a brokerage book that touches every state in the lower 48.

What hasn't changed: Steven still walks the dock every Tuesday morning. Karen still reviews every invoice over 10,000 dollars. And every new driver still gets sat down with a printed driver handbook on day one.

We won't accept a load we can't legally and safely deliver on time. If we say yes, the truck shows up. If we'd be cutting it close, we'll tell you before you tender.

One named account manager. One named back-up. Cell numbers, not call centers. Escalation goes straight to Steven inside 60 minutes.

The quote is the invoice. No surprise accessorials, no fuel-surcharge games, no "market adjustments" mid-contract.

The Team

54 People. One Building. Six Time Zones of Coverage.

Our operations team is 100% in Plano — dispatch, customer service, warehouse, accounting, all under one roof. That's deliberate. When the night-shift dispatcher needs the warehouse supervisor at 2:00 am, she walks 40 feet, not 4 transfers.

We hire long. The average tenure of our office staff is 6.4 years. Our lead dispatcher, Carla Renteria, has been with Steven since the second truck.

Leadership:

Steven Belaire — Founder & CEO. 28 years in transportation, former regional ops manager at a Top-25 LTL carrier.
Karen Belaire — CFO & Co-Founder. CPA, runs finance and HR.
Carla Renteria — VP Operations. Started as a dispatcher in 2015.
Marcus Whitfield — Director of Safety & Compliance. 14 years FMCSA-side.

Milestones

Twelve Years, One Mile at a Time

2014

Founded in Plano, Texas

One tractor, one trailer, one rented dock door. First customer: a Frisco-based industrial supplier still with us today.

2016

USDOT & MC Authority

Operating authority granted. First three-truck fleet hits the road under our own MC number.

2017

First Warehouse

Leased 12,000 sq ft on McDermott Road. Added cross-dock and short-term storage to the service mix.

2020

Through the Pandemic, Together

Kept every customer. Added a third shift to support essential-goods clients. Hired 14 people that year.

2022

New Headquarters

Moved into our 140,000 sq ft facility off Plano Parkway with 24 dock doors and full WMS.

2024

FMCSA SmartWay Partner

Joined the EPA SmartWay program. New tractor spec cut idle fuel burn 22% fleet-wide.

2026

38 Power Units, 54 People, 50 States
